We hired Sean as our wedding photographer and I don't think we could've made a better choice. Your wedding day is already stressful, so Sean's professionalism combined with being super personable for the entirety of the process made us more comfortable and genuinely made it an even more perfect day than we thought it could be. He obviously has a lot of experience with weddings as well as other photography on the whole, and it showed through his work. We got the best organized shots and plenty of candids to remind us of how happy we were going through our special day. If I ever get married again (I hope my wife isn't reading this) I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. Couldn't have appreciated his work and time any more than we already do. Thanks again Sean!

Had the pleasure of meeting Sean during his visit to Florida. Sean captured Drone Footage of me doing some extreme sports. The quality of the video is the highest I have ever seen. Sean was incredibly easy and professional to work with. He also provided great suggestions (where to get fresh lei's) and picking the best timing & location for our family vacation shoot. The photos turned out amazing and the whole process was super fast and easy to pick out our favorites. It's clear he has an incredible eye based on some of the other photos he's taken (both of people/events and artistic captures of stars and other scenery). We are so happy to have these images as a keepsake from an incredible vacation and to be able to pick from so many different backgrounds and combinations (even with just a 30min shoot!). This man literally made the best day of my life perfect. I chose him as my photographer through a wedding planner in Maui and he "understood the assignment"! Hands down one the the most genuine people I have ever met. The wedding planner themselves failed to tell us she wouldn't be there to help out on a our big day and tell us what to do ect... but Sean he made it perfect. If you are searching for a photographer on Maui look no further. Honestly, Sean takes the most amazing photos, is extremely friendly and is so patient with kids. He knows all the best places and has a knack for capturing my kids best moments. He has been taking our family photos every year for the past 8 years. He has helped us with local restaurant and excursion ideas and other places to go see to really enjoy all the beauty Maui has to offer. After so many years of talking with him and having him take our photos, he has become a family friend. My kids know him and look forward to seeing him every year too. This was the second time our family worked with Sean and again the pictures are just outstanding and the whole experience from start to finish was remarkably enjoyable. We had seven people that included three generations, along with our dog. Sean’s a pro with children, just have to say that, and tuned right in to how to get the best from each one of us. Sean did our wedding back in 2006. He assisted in choosing a location spot, flowers & the officiate. Not typical of a photographer, but we were unsure of options since we were coming from Florida, and he made several suggestions. He was truly professional in every aspect. He did shots we knew we wanted & then suggested other poses that turned out beautiful. He then made a video of some of our pictures & video footage he took….to the two tunes we wanted. I wasn’t sure that I was going to be able to get any maternity pictures taken because Covid was still such a wildfire. But Sean agreed to take some and not only was he incredibly safe, but he helped me relax, have fun and enjoy the experience. Being pregnant is not a time where you feel like you want a camera in front of you but Sean really helped me feel comfortable, had fun with my husband and other son, and made me feel beautiful. And the final product was just icing on the cake!! I’m so grateful that he captured my big belly and my boys and I during one of the craziest times in our lives. It’s been 3 years now, after our wedding, and we are still SO HAPPY with our photographer & videographer Sean Michael Hower ! We are celebrating our 3 year anniversary now, feeling very grateful to have hired Sean Michael Hower! Very often we look at our AMAZING wedding photos!! Our friends and family often still tell us (for 3 years now) how awesome our wedding photos are!! I have worked with very many different photographers over the years, and Sean Michael Hower and his team are BY FAR the best in Hawaii !!

Sean Hower of Maui Wedding Medias did an amazing job with our whole photo shoot. All we can say after reviewing all the photos is, they came out phenomenal. The whole experience was great. Sean was very accommodating to us and made sure not to rush us, but also managed our time well. He made sure that we got those perfect sunset beach pictures that is a must for any Hawaiian wedding and we love every single bit of the outcome of the photos. Standing for photo after photo can be tiring but Sean made it fun and a great experience. I strongly recommend him for anyone’s wedding or special event.

We heard Sean Michael Hower is the best of the best in Maui for wedding photographers and guess what! - We agree! My fiance' (now husband) and I wanted a simple wedding shoot for our simple July 4th beach wedding. I feel so honored and blessed to have had photos taken by Sean! He came recommended by a friend who traveled from AZ to HI for her vow renewals after I inquired after seeing her awesome photos on social media. For my family, we were traveling to Maui for our first vacation after losing my spouse (and dad to my kids).

Sean was such an attentive listener and compassionate man to our special circumstances. I shared with him first on email and then we talked through it on the phone as well. Taking photos of a family still grieving could be tricky, yet he was so sensitive to the issue and really was fun for us all to work with. He kept it lighthearted and silly to keep all of us living in the moment and enjoying the time together being documented. I am delighted that we have this significant time captured (and even more overjoyed that it was captured through the lens of Sean Hower)!

I had a vision of what kind of setting I wanted and he was willing to travel to a different part of the island to get to the perfect spot. I had a couple of other meaningful things I wanted to be done and he went the extra mile to gather information to make sure those too, could be done. Over and beyond this man went!

The final product, our photo gallery...wow, wow, wow! It took us many days to pick our favorites. There was a good variety of poses, backgrounds within the space we went to, etc. He has a remarkable eye. All four of us love the photos!!!

I could go on and on about this professional, kind, talented man! Any of my friends traveling to Hawaii wanting photos will for sure have to use him and for anyone reading this review looking for a photographer, without any hesitation, I recommend him!

Sean did my family/maternity photos last year.Our initial location for photos didn’t work out, but Sean didn’t let that stop us. Without hesitation, we changed locations and our photos turned out amazing!After giving birth, we called Sean again to do our Newborn photos. He worked so great with our 5 year old and our newborn and he captured several precious moments of our family.Working with Sean is so easy. The was a vow renewal ceremony in Maui at the Royal Lahaina Resort which included 50 family and friends Sean was recommended by Amy Johnston, their banquet manager who said he was excellent. She was exactly right on the money. There are very good photographers and then there are outstanding photographers and Sean was just outstanding.

His professionalism and enthusiasm made the challenge of family picture-taking into a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
